Gıda ve Gastronomi Sektöründe İstihdam Garantili Mesleki Eğitim Projesi, T.C. Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı’nın 2024 yılı Sosyal Gelişmeyi Destekleme Programı (SOGEP) kapsamında, Gaziantep Ticaret Odası ve İpekyolu Kalkınma Ajansı iş birliğiyle hayata geçirilmektedir. Proje, deprem, pandemi ve göç gibi çeşitli zorluklardan etkilenen işsiz kadınlar ile 18–35 yaş arası gençlerin gastronomi sektöründe nitelikli istihdamını artırmayı amaçlamaktadır.
Program kapsamında üç ana eğitim alanı bulunmaktadır: Uzun dönem profesyonel aşçılık ve uzun dönem profesyonel pastacılık–fırıncılık alanlarında 8’er katılımcı 2 ay teorik/teknik eğitim ve 2 ay staj sürecine katılacak; profesyonel servis personeli alanında ise 10 katılımcı 8 haftalık eğitim ve 2 aylık staj programını tamamlayacaktır. Eğitimler Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı onaylı müfredat doğrultusunda yürütülecek, katılımcılar hem teorik hem pratik beceriler kazanarak sektörde staj yapma imkânı elde edecektir. Program sonunda katılımcılar MEB sertifikası almaya hak kazanacak ve Gaziantep Ticaret Odası üyesi işletmelerde istihdam edilmeleri desteklenecektir.
En az %60 istihdam hedefiyle uygulanan proje, sektördeki nitelikli iş gücü ihtiyacını karşılamayı ve kadınlar ile gençler için sürdürülebilir istihdam fırsatları oluşturmayı amaçlayarak Gaziantep’in gastronomi alanındaki konumunu güçlendirmektedir.

The Vocational Training Project with Employment Guarantee in the Food and Gastronomy Sector is being implemented under the 2024 Social Development Support Programme (SOGEP) of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, in cooperation with the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce and the İpekyolu Development Agency. The project aims to increase qualified employment opportunities in the gastronomy sector for unemployed women and young people aged 18–35 who have been affected by challenges such as earthquakes, the pandemic, and migration.
The programme includes three main training areas: in long-term professional culinary arts and long-term professional pastry & bakery programmes, 8 participants each will receive 2 months of theoretical/technical training followed by a 2-month internship; in professional service training, 10 participants will complete an 8-week training programme followed by a 2-month internship. The training is delivered in line with the Ministry of National Education (MoNE) accredited curriculum, enabling participants to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills through on-the-job training in the sector. Upon completion, participants will be eligible to obtain MoNE certification and will be supported in gaining employment within enterprises that are members of the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce.
Implemented with a minimum employment target of 60%, the project aims to address the shortage of skilled labour in the sector while creating sustainable employment opportunities for women and young people, thereby strengthening Gaziantep’s position in the field of gastronomy.
